Convenient—No Knots
Safer—Reduces Panic
Durable—Stainless Steel Construction

Easy-tie 2 Easy-tie 3 Using the Easy-Tie to secure a horse is simple. Place the lead rope (free end down) in-between the coils and over the right coil. The horse is secured. A common 5/8" braided polypropylene rope is shown. A variety of ropes from 1/2" to 3/4" has been acceptable. The type, size, and condition of the rope will provide different levels of resistance to a horse pulling back.

Should the horse suddenly pull back the Easy-Tie will resist, inter-wrapping the rope up the coil and slowly releasing only a certain amount of rope. This reduces the chance of panic in the horse.

Easy-Tie 4Easy-Tie 5 After the horse gives up, the slack in the rope given up by the horse can easily be taken back. By pulling on the free end of the lead rope from the side of the coil the inter-wrapped rope comes down the coil and becomes free for easy retrieval of the slack. This returns the horse to his original position.

The rope resistance in the Easy-Tie can be increased by placing the free end of the lead rope in the bottom hook. This will make it more difficult for the horse to pull back. Even more resistance is possible by placing the free end of the lead rope in the top hook.
